World of Bluegrass

The instrument check is a room dedicated to the storage of your instruments.  While you network and listen to bands, drop your axe off at the room and save your back! 


We get it: Lugging that acoustic bass around all day may not be ideal. No worries! The Instrument Check is open daily in the Convention Center in Room 203 on the lower level. The cost is $2.00 per “checked” item.

 
When checking items, please note the closing hour. If you have not retrieved your items by closing times, they will not be available to you until it is re-opened on the next day.

 

Though we will do our best to keep your instrument safe and secure, IBMA provides instrument check as a convenience and is NOT responsible for theft, damage, or other loss at any time. In checking your instrument, you assume all risk of loss.

 

This area also serves as Lost & Found. If you find an item or are looking for something you’ve lost, please come here first! Anything turned into IBMA volunteers or staff will be located here.

 

Additional Lost & Found services are maintained by the facilities. Check the information desk of the Raleigh Convention Center or the front desks of your hotel as well.
